Detective Constable Joanne Farrell of the Metropolitan Police since 2014, is accused of spearheading a group of officers that have launched a ‘campaign of harassment’ against an ex-officer, because she openly exposed misogynistic conduct within the force.

In recent years, Alice Vinten has spoken out in the press against the acts of her former colleagues on multiple occasions. She came out to say that her coworkers believed that “99% of rape cases were regretful sex, and that women would cheat and say it was rape to get out of it.”

When she was an officer, she witnessed fellow officers sharing private, intimate photos of their girlfriends without their girlfriends’ consent, being forced to watch violent pornography, and inappropriate conduct towards female members of the public.

In response, Joanne Farrell allegedly launched a campaign of harassment, by spearheading a group that would go on to target Alice Vinten.
